Twilight Quartet: A Candlelight Benefit for the Hardy Civic Center
Join us Saturday, August 15 for an evening concert by candlelight performed by a quartet of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Proceeds will benefit the renovation of the Hardy Civic Center.
You may purchase tickets for the concert only ($25), the concert and reception ($50) or a concert and reception package for two ($75–a savings of $25). (Purchase tickets.)
The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with a reception and music by local harpist and former Memphis Symphony member LuAnn Martin.
The 7:00 p.m. concert includes works by Vivaldi, Granados, Elizondo, Arkansas composer William Grant Still, Piazzolla, and Angel Villoldo. The program will last approximately one hour. (Musician biographies forthcoming.)
The Civic Center will be lit with hundreds of LED candles, chandeliers, and our new interactive lighting system for a truly unforgettable experience. The reception will include a wonderful selection of hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beer and wine donated for the occasion.
Proceeds will benefit the second phase of Hardy Civic Center renovations and upgrades, which include a new kitchen and bathrooms, lighting upgrades, and equipment purchases.
