Twilight Quartet: A Candlelight Benefit for the Hardy Civic Center
Join us Saturday, August 15 for an concert by candlelight performed by a string quartet of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Proceeds will benefit the renovation of the Hardy Civic Center.

The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with a reception with music by local harpist and former Memphis Symphony member LuAnn Martin and an exhibition of works by 14 local artists curated by Stanis E. Vanous, with the works available for purchase. Visit the exhibition page.
The 7:00 p.m. concert features a string quartet of four Arkansas Symphony Orchestra musicians:

The program includes works by Antonio Vivaldi, Enrique Granados, José Elizondo, Arkansas composer William Grant Still, Astor Piazzolla, and Angel Villoldo. The program will last approximately one hour.
The Civic Center will be lit with hundreds of LED candles, chandeliers, and our new interactive lighting system for a truly unforgettable experience. The reception will include a wonderful selection of hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beer and wine donated for the occasion.
Proceeds will benefit the second phase of Hardy Civic Center renovations and upgrades, which include a new kitchen and bathrooms, lighting upgrades, and equipment purchases.
