LuAnn Martin, Harpist
LuAnn is a native of Ohio, where she studied clarinet performance at the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati (CCM).
She has been an active performer and studio teacher in the Cincinnati, Memphis, and Naples Florida areas. She moved to Cherokee Village in 2015. Since 2021, LuAnn has been a resident of Hardy.
She took up the harp four years ago, following the death of her husband. Studying the harp and performing has become her primary pastime. LuAnn plays Celtic lever harps, an instrument that not only serves as a vehicle for music from Ireland and Scotland, but is also suited to other genres, including jazz.
